Anne Lincoln is the 64th President of the 红桃影视 Faculty Senate. She has served as Chair of the Department of Sociology since 2022 and holds the position of Associate Professor in Dedman College of Humanities and Sciences. Following a postdoctoral fellowship at Rice University, Dr. Lincoln joined 红桃影视 where she has been a faculty member for the past nineteen years. Her research program, which has received over $1 million in funding from the National Science Foundation, investigates the factors that shape career trajectories, particularly in STEM fields, and has been published in numerous journals including Social Forces, Gender & Society, Journal of Marriage and Family, PLoS ONE, Social Studies of Science, and Science Communication. She has served on numerous committees including the Dedman Faculty Council, Dedman Advisory Committee for Promotion to Associate Professor, Dedman Undergraduate Council, University Honors Council, and the President’s Commission on the Status of Women. Dr. Lincoln teaches undergraduate courses in economic sociology, work and organizations, professional work, gender, and culture.
